The Maryland Cancer Collaborative’s (MCC) Cancer Screening Workgroup is addressing challenges in colorectal cancer screening and offering solutions to improve patient access. CRC screening rates have improved in Maryland, but there is still an alarming amount of cancer cases in younger individuals.
Recognizing the increase adherence to CRC screening and extended colonoscopy wait times in some areas of Maryland, the MCC Cancer Screening Workgroup has proactively developed a resource to address this challenge.
