AI Notetaking Policy: The use of AI notetaking tools (including transcription software, voice recognition apps, and automated meeting assistants) is prohibited during MDAFP meetings. Participants are expected to use traditional notetaking methods to protect the confidentiality and integrity of all discussions. Exceptions require prior approval from the meeting organizer.
Family medicine in Maryland needs your fresh perspective and unique insights. Submit a Speaker Proposal for the 2027 AMWR!
As a family physician, you’re working through challenges daily, gaining new knowledge under pressure, and developing strategies and supports where needed most. Your experience adds up and the insights could benefit another physician or student more than you know!
Consider leading the way in family medicine and sharing those insights as a presenter this year. Plus -adding a resident or student as a co-presenter could be a great opportunity for both of you!
The Education Committee is specifically looking for sessions on the following topics, though all proposals on clinical topics relevant to Family Medicine will be considered:
All speaker proposals should be submitted online through the submission link. To submit your proposal, you will need a title, brief description/abstract, 3-4 learning objectives, and basic presenter information.

The Maryland Academy of Family Physicians invites students and residents to submit proposals for Poster Presentation Sessions held in conjunction with the 2027 Annual Meeting and Winter Refresher (AMWR), February 26-28.
Poster presentations will occur on Saturday, February 27, from 4:30 - 5:30pm.
Applications are open! Presentation submissions are due on December 1.
