Dr. Shana O. Ntiri is an Assistant Professor in the University of Maryland’s Department of Family and Community Medicine where she divides her time between patient care, community outreach and cancer prevention research. Dr. Ntiri became active in the MDAFP as a resident when she joined the educational committee and served as a resident director. She has remained active in MDAFP as member and former chair of the educational committee and a current board member. Dr. Ntiri has also represented MDAFP at the AAFP National Congress of Special Constituencies for several years.

Dr. Ntiri received her medical degree from the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University and completed her residency at the University of Maryland’s Department of Family and Community Medicine, where she served as chief resident.
